{DIY: Party Food} Chocolate Dipped Pringles 'n Pretzels (How-To)

I can't wait to share with you a dessert tablescape that I recently helped put together with a friend for her Stella & Dot launch party! It was a "Sweet & Salty" themed dessert table. Chocolate Dipped Pringles and Chocolate Dipped Pretzels were on the menu...so I wanted to show you all how to make them! You'd be surprised that everyone who tried the chocolate dipped chips actually really liked them!

HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTESS FEATURED MY STELLA & DOT DESSERT TABLE HERE!!

You'll have to check it out! So exciting! :-)

Let's get started!!

And you're done!

These ones are made with half chocolate candy melts & half white candy melts - don't they look divine?!

Moving on...

WAH-LA! So easy!! Now - for some fun...shake on some sprinkles, drizzle other colored candy melts, or sprinkle on nuts or heath bar candy bits!

Other Tips/Notes:

~ If the candy melts are too thick after melted, feel free to add a tiny bit of vegetable oil or...a reader just shared with me 2 teaspoons of vegetable shortening to every 2 cups of melts. It thins it out a bit and helps make the "dip" a little smoother.

~ After you've dipped all your Pringles or Pretzels, stick the cookie tray you've put them on in the refrigerator - they'll harden up in less than a couple of minutes!

~If you are going to use sprinkles - put the sprinkles on the dipped Pretzels/melted candy melts BEFORE they dry! That way they stick! :-)

~ Keep dipped Pringles and Pretzels stored in an air-tight container until you are ready to serve them or its close to party time - so they don't go stale!

As always - feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions!

Happy Creating!

love, naz

  2. Hi, there! You can SOMETIMES find them on sale (about .50 less a bag) at Wal-Mart. OR - you should be able to find these at any craft store with a baking section. So - I usually just buy mine at Michaels! :-) Also- I had another reader let me know that if you add 2 teaspoons of shortening to every 2 cups of melts - that thins it out too! Please let me know if you try these and how they turn out! :-)
