{Recipe} Simple & Delish Dessert: Raspberry & Cream Cheese Filled Wontons ~ Recipe!!

This is a SUPER SIMPLE dessert I came up with after making a recipe for dinner with Phyllo dough and having extra leftover. I figured there was SOMETHING I could do with it! :-)

This recipe is so EASY! Check it out:

Raspberry & Cream Cheese Filled Wontons Recipe
1 can of Raspberry Filling OR any kind of freezer jam would work for this too!
1 box of Cream Cheese
1 box of Phyllo Dough- THAWED(you can find this in freezer section near frozen pies and such)
1/2 cup Butter (Melted) OR I just used SPRAY BUTTER
Powdered Sugar

1). Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2). Unroll Phyllo dough and GENTLY peel back first layer and place on counter.
3). Spray butter or "paint" melted butter with pastry brush all over first layer of Phyllo, then sprinkle with powdered sugar. You'll want to get corners good too so the next layer "sticks" from corner to corner.
4). Gently peel off another layer from stack of Phyllo and place directly on top of buttered/sugared layer. (Its okay if it tears a little bit!)
5). Butter & sugar the 2nd & then a 3rd layer. Then place the 4th layer on top (don't butter and sugar the 4th layer).
6). Cut stack of buttered/sugared Phyllo into 9 squares.
7). Put a teaspoon or so of cream cheese on each sqare then a heaping tablespoon of the raspberry filling on top of it.
8). Then butter the corners of each square. (This will help it "stick" to each other better).
9). With each square - Pull up each corner "wonton" style and stick the corners together and place on cookie sheet. These don't have to be perfect!!
10). Bake wonton's at 350 degrees ON BOTTOM 3RD OF OVEN for 7-9 minutes or until the wonton's tops are golden brown.
11). Serve these HOT out of the oven with a side of vanilla ice cream and sprinkle powdered sugar on top!
